music video + making of with singer Laurah Cruz

A Black trans woman living in a context of social vulnerability struggles to sustain her artistic practice as a singer. In a deeply personal interpretation of the song “Confesso” by Ana Carolina and Totonho Villeroy, Laurah gives voice to the indifference, recurring instability, and lack of affection that shape her everyday life on the streets of the territory. Her truths resonate through the power of her voice and the intensity of her presence. Microphone in hand, she sings as an act of resistance.
