Fluxosound installation based on field recordings made in the Fluxo of Cracolândia
An immersive sound installation composed from field recordings made in the Fluxo of Cracolândia, a site that is extremely difficult to access. Fluxo is the name given to an itinerant community that occupies the streets of downtown São Paulo, composed predominantly of Black men, many of whom experience chemical dependency and live in conditions of extreme social vulnerability. They are victims of a cycle of exploitation linked to drug trafficking, police violence, and state abandonment.
